Born and educated in England but now based in Derry in Northern Ireland, Gary has been a freelance illustrator since finishing his degree in Graphic Design in Exeter.

Gary started life as an illustrator exclusively painting and collage. He now uses the extensive array of drum scanned painted textures of his earlier work for backgrounds and shapes, which he uses to overlay vector based Illustrator figures and objects.

Recent clients include The Sunday Times, Deloitte Insights, Radio Times, Financial Times, Frontier Economics, Inside Housing, Merchant Chandos, Caspian Publishing, GP Magazine, Hour Detroit Magazine, Sunday Telegraph.
