Jane Webster’s hand drawn lifestyle, food, travel and architectural illustration attract a wide range of international clients from advertising, design, editorial and product branding. Her work celebrates what the food and travel industry has to offer with an additional graphic twist evoking a fresh, visual sense of time and personal place whether it’s maps designed to depict geographic context and content; finding the way to the perfect eatery; a fine wine label, or the process of an having elective caesarean operation.
Jane’s documentary work explores the ‘behind the scenes’ aspects of an organisation. She has worked with The Welsh National Opera, The Natural History Museum, The Old Vic Theatre, Free Range Films, Waitrose Food Illustrated, The Times Newspaper amongst others to communicate the narrative of the processes and people behind the public face of an organisation or brand.
Her reputation for meeting tight deadlines comes from over 20 years experience of Illustration practice and is underpinned by her academic role as Senior Lecturer and third year co-ordinator of Kingston University’s award-winning Illustration Animation B.A (hons) course. Voted no 1. in the Guardian League Tables.
