Naja Conrad-Hansen graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen 2003 (KADK) , With a MA in Visual Communication and a background in fine art; she began her career as a fulltime illustrator and artist in 2003.
Her practice embraces illustration, painting, graphic/print design and art direction.
Loving all freehand techniques pen, pencil, paint, ink, screen printing, collage
and her Wacom screen, she has earned her reputation as an fashion illustration artist. Having worked and working with numerous clients in the fashion industry she has a great interest and knowledge of future fashion and she also designs textile prints, AOP and placement prints.
She also has a great passion for working on commissions on anything music related from posters; you name it merchandise, to cover art.
Besides working on wide range of commissions she creates ink work and paintings which she exhibits worldwide.
She has been nominated and selected for "200 Best Illustrators Worldwide" by Lürzer's archive 5 times in a row, the latest being "200 Best Illustrators Worldwide" 20116/2017.
Her illustrated works are featured in over 30 books on illustration and art, among them her own awarded children book.
She also has ongoing collaborations with photographers and musicians to feed her untamed curiosity in all creative fields.

Naja is born I Copenhagen, Denmark in 1970, half Dane /half Finnish. As a child she spend time in Greece, Egypt, Finland and has lived in Berlin for many years among other places. Now she is living and working in Copenhagen.
She speaks Danish, Finnish, English and German. And a funny Swedish if required.
