Dan Funderburgh's fabulous design for Cole Haan is now the backdrop for their Spring 2014 "The Getaway" campaign.
Defined by a sense of wanderlust, Dan's intricate design travels from Los Angeles to Palm Springs. Cactus, road signs, palm trees, guitars, summer bags and sandals (of course!) roll between the spinning wheels and fans like a desert mirage.

Quarto Publishing / Christian Gralingen
Christian Gralingen was commissioned by Quarto Publishing to create illustrations for the cover and 45 spreads of a book ‘That was Genius’ about lost knowledge and incredible inventions from history. Author: Emily Dodd. Art Direction was by Alex Hithersay and Maia Fjord. Christian was born in Essen (Germany) and now lives and works as an Art Director and Illustrator, as well as teaching Illustration and Communication Design, in Berlin. He has a diploma in Communication Design from the University Duisburg-Essen (Folkwang). His client list includes design agencies, publishing houses, magazines, academic institutions and foundations. His aesthetics have many influences but are particularly inspired by the imagery of scientific publications, construction plans and technical drawings.

BrewDog has a long history of commissioning cutting-edge illustration for its beers. Early this year it commissioned Début Art represented illustrators Jordi Ros, Simon Prades and Andy Bourne to create imagery for three of its Liquid Visions beers. Art Direction by the great Chris Whyte.
