Biography

Emile Holmewood is an award-winning illustrator and animator, born in New Zealand and currently based in Tokyo after building an advertising and editorial reputation in London.

His work has appeared in leading global publications from the New York Times to London’s Guardian/Observer, and in public spaces like Madison Square Garden.

Among his advertising clients have been Apple and Bank of America.

He recently illustrated the book What is Strategy: An illustrated guide to Michael Porter, with Harvard Business Review press.

Emile’s background in graphic design informs his illustration work, where he enjoys the challenge of transforming complex ideas into humorous images.
