La Boca have been working closely with More Creative on their new creative direction for Russia’s no 1 selling vodka Green Mark. La Boca were asked to create a design that communicated the brand’s authentic Russian credentials and heritage with a modern twist taking cues from an artistic movement, constructivism, which originated in Russia in the early 1920s. In this same period, the Russian Government appointed an agency called Glavspirttrest to regulate vodka production in Russia and award only the finest vodkas the coveted Green Mark seal of approval. Green Mark is now the fourth largest spirit internationally, with annual sales of approximately 10 million 9L cases worldwide. It is the number one vodka brand in Russia (no. 2 worldwide) and holds international recognition for being genuinely Russian. Oliver Jeffers was ask by the guys at Krow Communications and Passion Pictures to work on Ferrero Kinder Chocolates new print and television campaign. This is the first time Kinder Chocolate products apart from the Kinder Eggs have been advertised on television in the UK, in an effort to target mums with its “Invented for kids” strapline. ‘Happy Birthday Edward Lear’ is an exhibition at the Poetry Café, London, celebrating 200 years of Edward Lear. There is more than one defining Victorian writer celebrating his bicentenary this year. Edward Lear, who gave us ‘The Owl and the Pussycat’ and ‘The Dong With a Luminous Nose’, developed the limerick into a staple of nonsense verse, and whose drawings are still instantly recognisable, was born 200 years ago on 12 May – a milestone that threatens to pass quietly, overshadowed by his contemporary Dickens. But début art illustrator Andrew Baker and animator Linda Hughes (working together as Paper Galaxy) have stepped into the breach, mounting an exhibition at the Poetry Society’s Poetry Café in Covent Garden to say, “Thank you, Mr Lear”. ‘Happy Birthday Edward Lear’ will feature work by an astonishing range of over 40 artists and illustrators, including fellow début art artists Dominic Trevett, Jane Webster and Morten Mørland along with Glen Baxter...
Continuing the ongoing relationship with Red Bull, ilovedust were asked by the brand team at Red Bull's London HQ to help illustrate a special edition redesign of the 473ml can featuring world-renowned stunt rider Travis Pastrana with an aim to give consumers the chance to interact with one of their hero’s. For the first time in the UK, the Red Bull can will carry a QR code, leading consumers to exclusive digital content via their smartphones. The campaign will be supported by a series of posters from May featuring ilovedust's artwork.
