Joe Wilson '2001: A Space Odyssey' / The Folio Society

We’re delighted that the time has come to share Joe Wilson 's outstanding illustrations for Arthur C. Clarke’s ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’, published by The Folio Society and freshly launched this month. Joe is no stranger to publishing projects, but producing the artwork for this particular book has been a career highlight: ‘As a science fiction fan and having read and loved the book from the start, it was a huge honour to be asked to illustrate it. Dream projects like this don’t come around often, and what’s more to have had my part in creating the first illustrated edition of this book makes it an even more remarkable commission. I hope the artwork does the writing justice’.
